Welcome to Newsletter No 17. This month we are delighted to feature some highlights from the three shoots that we've worked on this year for fashion label, New Look. The shoots took place between June and September this year with Edinburgh, a mansion house in Midlothian and a country estate in the West of Scotland providing the backdrops. As you can probably imagine, it was great fun trying to create winter scenes in midst of summer and giving off a Christmas party night vibe one September lunchtime!

Marketing to Creatives - How to create a killer email campaign
The Top 5 Secrets of Success
1. Follow-ups, Follow-ups, Follow-ups
2. Get a good list
3. Write a clickable subject line
4. Choose a great image
5. Include an enticing call to action
1. Call your Clickers
Most people think this item comes last... But if you don't do your follow-up "ClickCalls" you might as well not send the campaign.
Call everyone who clicked your campaign and make sure you call them within 24 hours...

2. Create a list of creatives with projects in your speciality...
If you shoot food - make sure you send to ad agencies with food accounts, publishers of food books or magazines about food.
and PLEASE make sure you update your list the day before you send.

3. Write a killer subject line.
Subjects like "Visit my web site..." or "Latest work by..." rarely get opened.
Use the subject line to address your CUSTOMERS :
"Latest campaign by AGENCY X for CLIENT Y..." works as creatives are interested to see what other agencies are doing.
"Stunning new food images for Advertising, Design & Editorial projects..." is good as it connects directly with the needs of the recipients.
"Inside the London Shard, Pete Photo gets the 1st shots..." is current and newsworthy.

4. One great image works better than lots of great images...
You've got 2 seconds to grab their attention - make it easy for them to click to see more.
If they've seen all your great images in the email they probaby won't click, and if they do they'll be disappointed.

5. A call to action is an encouragement to the prospect to take the next step...
"Please visit my web site..." doesn't do it, but "Click to see more advertisng projects for AgencyX, ADesignCo & Amagazine..." might.

6. Follow-ups, Follow-ups, Follow-ups... again, we can't emphasise this enough.
